Gone But Not Forgotten A New Year’s Reflection

  • January 4, 2013

The past has slipped away so gently I would say,
The loves we share, our hopes, our inspirations,
Our failures and despairs.

But through it all we gave it to Him to share.
And with his loving care He taught us how to bear,
So farewell to thee wherever you may be.
My loving Lord in Heave has set me free.

So, hello there New Year’s Eve!
For now, I’m ready for Thee no matter what the year may bring.

But know for sure my heart and soul will always remain free.
Because my wonderful Lord has shown me the path we all so truly need.
