Chez Saint Mary’s: a Taste of France

On Thursday, September 30, nearly 200 guests gathered for our first annual Chez St. Mary’s wine tasting. White lights filled the trees and paper lanterns illuminated our enabling garden as servers poured tastes of 12 different French wines courtesy of The House of Glunz. Our Little Sisters were thrilled to see so many familiar faces and to meet new friends of our home here under the stars. Late September could not have provided a more beautiful evening for this affair which raised more than $11,000 for our care for the elderly poor. One Resident family member told Mother Patricia “I never even knew you had such a beautiful outdoor space, it will not be hard to bring more friends next year!”
