St. Francis’s Feast Day

  • October 7, 2020
St. Francis’s Feast Day

October 4 was St. Francis’s feast day and we couldn’t imagine a better way to celebrate this glorious day than to have our rambunctious dog Lincoln blessed by a priest in our Chapel. If you haven’t met him before, Lincoln is our precious Bernedoodle that roams our halls and keeps tabs on everyone. We pray that St. Francis continues to watch over our home as well as our beloved beast Lincoln.

The Little Sisters hold St. Francis in very high regard because not only was he an enormously holy man but he also was extremely generous to the poor. He was known for his love of animals and nature. Having a dog as a resident our Home is a blessing in and of itself and brings staff, Sisters, and Residents great amounts of joy so we pray that St. Francis looks after him.
