Santa Claus Comes to Town
The temperature was well above freezing this Yuletide, and no snow could be seen anywhere, so one could be forgiven for thinking Christmas was still a long way off.
But the unseasonably mild weather didn’t fool Santa Claus. He was right on time to drop by St. Mary’s Home with a sleigh piled high with many special items for some very people. With a “Ho, ho, ho” he and his trusty and eager elves coursed through the bedecked halls, spreading holiday cheer, lighting up the eyes and warming the hearts of everyone.
Santa always knows who has been naughty or nice, and we are delighted to report all our Residents were exceptionally well behaved in 2021!
With the staff and the Little Sisters, the jolly old man in red and his able crew delivered wondrously wrapped presents to our delighted Residents, who were also treated to candy, hot chocolate, and eggnog. Spirits were indeed bright and merry!
Just as quickly as they had arrived, Santa and his elves disappeared in the blink of an eye, but not without first promising to return next year.
